ABOUT ME

I believe in taking a unique approach to each and every client. What makes us different, makes us great. Instead of having cookie cutter workout routines and giving everyone the same plan, I customize your plan to you! No matter what fitness level you are at, or what your goal is, I will help you reach it.

I have several certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, including Golf Fitness Specialist, and the Fitness Nutrition Specialization.

My experience includes 6 years of running my own training business, 7 years of working with the Oakland Raiders, including time in the Strength and Conditioning Department, and 2 seasons as a high school football coach at Berean Christian in Walnut Creek, CA.

"As far as clients go, I am probably not a personal trainer's favorite. When I started working with Morgan a few years ago, I was not excited. Like at all. My second child had just turned a year old and I was pretty out of shape. I hated the gym and moaned and groaned at every session. Laying on the floor whining was a regular part of our warmup. Morgan was the perfect trainer for me though, because he very patient and very encouraging. He never asked for more than I could accomplish, and focused on just getting me in the gym consistently. Let me start with the fundamentals; Morgan is reliable, prepared, extremely knowledgeable and intuitive. He is a great motivator, always positive, always great energy, honest and approachable. 


I was struggling with finding a path to meet my fitness goals. Morgan has really helped me focus in on what it is that I need to be doing and has helped me build the confidence to start and keep going!

Working out with Morgan has changed my mind about exercise in general. I love working out now, and I never thought that could happen. He keeps it fun and interesting with different and new exercises weekly. 


Morgan truly knows what he’s doing, I completely trust him. He has tailored workouts around my strengths and weaknesses. I’ve got a few minor injuries that he has helped me work around. If an exercise  feels uncomfortable or awkward he helps adjust position to get the benefit with out risking injury.

We openly discuss eating habits, drinking habits and general health issues. Our workout sessions are so much more than just “reps.” Ive got a health coach too! I can talk to him about my habits and he offers simple ideas and alternatives for a healthier lifestyle.

I respect Morgan as a professional, he definitely walks the walk. I look forward to hearing about his weekly hiking adventures, very inspiring!
